Some might call it child abuse, some just character building or some just think we are incompetent parents. When the snow started to fall as we left the chalet in the morning Tom our 3 year old thought it was great. As the day went on & the snow got heavier we kept going, even though we saw less & less other skiers. We skied the whole area with Tom tucked between our legs on his own skis. On the last run home Tom’s face was as red as a berry, after getting lashed by the snow & the wind. I thought that we had blown it, putting him off from ever going skiing again. How wrong I was “that was great can we do it again?” was his cry, which was even more pleasing as we found that no one from our chalet had set foot outside all day..
