Ok, maybe not the most exciting photo ever, but it captures my experience of enduring and surviving an ardious adventure, the 2006 OMM. The first day was pretty tough, not the worst day I’ve had in the hills but those blisters stung a bit. Especially over 2 days! I just felt a bit crap, but was chuffed to get to the end. Not looking for sympathy or owt but I found out later that I was diabetic, which explained why I struggled, and has made doing stuff a bit more complicated. But I can look back and enjoy it. Dunno, I guess that photo reminds me that it only hurts for a bit but the memories last forever!
