This picture was taken by my climbing buddy Marcus at 3800m in the Valley Blanche somewhere between the Cosmique Hut and the Terino Hut this April. We were snowshoeing through countless metres of snow with no-one else in sight all day. We avoided crevasses and risk of avalanche through severe gales and snow storms. Happy times.
