Map Scroller

A map case that lets you scroll the map allowing you to always be in the centre of the map. Not the edge, not the back/reverse/ bit you always fold so there’s a hole where you think you are.

A large knob allows scrolling even when your wearing gloves.

Is this an electronic gizmo or mechanical?  How does it work?

Just mechanical. Im trying to stay away from electronics as the map scroller comes into its own when the weather gets bad and the last thing you want is for the electronics to die.
Its simply two rollers with a ridged back and clear waterproof cover over the map. The map is fed around the rollers. Probably best suited to linear routes.
