Lightweight versatile stove

On a cold, wet, windy day in the Knoydart, the sort of day you take your boots and socks off, wring out your socks, and then put them back on again. We needed a brew after crossing some rough ground, and my Optimus 123 climber refused to light, no matter what I did to it. That started me on the downward slope of fiddling with stoves, as I thought there must be a better and more flexible alterntive, to cope with such situations.

Basic stove comes with body, lid/base, pig and tail and burner plate. Stove can use the following fuels Solid fuel tablets, Methylated spirits, Gas, Wood, Charcoal. Basic body unit can burn solid fuel tablets, on a burner plate, and methylated spirits in suitable burner. The addition of the lid/base and gas components turns the unit into a gas stove. Stove can also be used as gas stove for group use, with a suitable pot support, and by adding an additional body ring, the stove to can be turned into a mini brazier which can burn wood and charcoal.

Specification Weight - 200g (target) - gas components plus body, lid/base and burner plate. Power output gas - 4500w Dimensions packed - 100mm x 55mm
