Gaiter lace attachements

Gaiters tend to have a little hook at the front to latch onto your bootlace designed to hold them in place. This little hook doesn’t work that well and usually becomes unattached. If the hook was replaced by either a small spring clip or length of fabric which looped around the lace and was fastened back on itself by a popper or velcro then the gaiters would stay in place more effectively.
