Hi Claire,
Thanks for your comments! Its great to hear from people who would find the product useful in their lives.
I have conducted research into RSI, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and Physiotherapy treatments as you have mentioned. The product is almost at a stage where I can take it to the market. I have made many prototypes with different weaves of elastic. The prototype above has been constructed with braided elastic; so it is a good strength for me (27 year old male). I found that older people found it too difficult to use, so I have others made of woven and knitted elastic. These are easier to use, so better for weaker hands. Thanks again for your useful comments; fingers crossed the judges like the idea too

Great idea! Following tendon damage I have used sheet elastic and compressing stress balls as physiotherapy recommended by specialists to rebuild strength and regain movement. Have you considered using different mixes of elastic and other fibres to create different strength levels i.e. a band that is easier or more difficult to stretch either as separate products or within the parts of the same band? An easier to stretch band could be marketed to those who are recovering from injuries, widening the target audience of this product.
Good luck!
