Sorry Toby, we are not looking to breed anymore Tokays for some time. We have not got any new suppliers lined up.. but if there are any out there drop us a line!

As the tokay is being discontinued, will they be sourced somewhere else, or not, and will there be any available in size 10 at the outdoors show?
Many thanks and keep up the good work

bought some for lunchtime bouldering near the sea. I’m a size 9 in the boreal zen and the tokays are too big me and not a precise shoe.  A good beginners shoe and for the money-great.

Hello,

Have just recived my Tokays, seem very comfortable, apart from the heel cup.  Was wondering why does the suade heel cup stop
half way up?  The line of sticking either needs to be flatlocked down so the remainng suade doesn’t roll down and irritate, or could you extend the heel cup up to the top of the ankle?  Just means I’m going to have to wear tights underneath them, when I normally climb in bare feet.
Other than that they seem very comfy, although going to try them out on the rock now.

Cheers for the great service yet again.

Size UK 4, however although sticky it not the most technical shoe on the market. So if its used for Hard Bouldering/Comps etc then it might not be the best shoe.

Hi exactly how small do you make the tokay shoes? Sprog is kinda inbetween at the moment! Not really adult sizes but not really kid sizes either. He’s just split the toe on his favourite comfy shoes n is naggin for some new ones!

In short… no, any heating that is suffcient to effect the rigidity of heel counter will almost certainly affect the glue that is used to bond the Sole section (that curves up over the heel.)

However we have a play here, over the next few days (maybe next week now) and see if we can come up with anything

Tokay rock shoes are much more comfotable than any others that I have tried.
Minor points are :-
1) The top of the ankle stiffener tends to rub my heel when descending.
2) The laces are much more prone to coming undone (even with a double bow to lock it off) than other shoes’ laces. (Not sure why. It may be worth trying round profile laces.)

Q) The shoes feel slightly loose around my heel even when wearing a thin pair of socks (I have v. narrow heels) [This may be the cause of 1 above]. Would it be OK to heat the rear of the shoe and press the heel stiffener tighter against my ankle, as you can with walking boots?
