Spike tent pegs, these are probably the best tent peg I have used, have held my tent down in some terrible storms. But most importantly when all other tent pegs were bending in the Alps, the spikes were the only peg to get any real hold on the ground. The price is also great, when compared to the competition.

I bought a set of Tike pegs and Spike pegs last year but was unable to use them until this year. The Spike pegs are excellent but I found that the holes in the Tike are a point of weakness as the lack of metal at this point means that they are easily bent if one encounters stony ground.

LiteStix - Not just a gimmick, they actually work really well! Puts a whole new dimension on eating noodles al fresco style out of a MyTinMug.

Envy is a beautiful thing, but only when it is directed at you (or in this case, at something you own). The simple yet elegant functionality of these purpose built eating irons (eating titaniums?) will astound almost anyone, even the shameful few who don’t venture outdoors. You see the LiteStix are one of those items which engender the very best of the seven deadly sins : greed, pride and wrath, even lust and gluttony (not sloth of course), but very best of all - envy.

You see envy, by is very nature, is desirable. As are these LiteStix. Buy them, buy them now and prepare to bask in the warm glow of another person’s carefully directed envy.

CUSTOMER SERVICE - Top notch!
I broke the little widget in my otherwise most excellent carbonlite poles. I couldn’t find it as a replacement item on the website. I e-mailed Alpkit. They sent me a link to the appropriate web page (D’oh!) AND they sent a replacement widget at no cost. Great products backed up by first class people. Thanks!
