PLEASE MAKE A FULL-LENGTH WEE AIRIC - IT WOULD STOP ME HAVE TO SHELL OUT ON A THERMAREST!

The wee airic is also brilliant for kipping on friends floors (OK so not very outdoorsy). The boyfriend is rarely impressed with gear I buy but he came back raving about my ‘mat thing’ after spending a night at a mates. When I told him it was £15 he was especially impressed!

I’d second the seat option. I’ve always wanted one of them.

How about making an inflatable seat, like the Thermarest one? It’d be useful if you’ve got a wee airic and want that extra bit of comfort too

Or how about a regular length Airic (ie 180cm) in wee width (51.5cm) and depth (2.5cm)?

Lightweight regular is definitely the way forward!

Thanks for the swift delivery of two Fat ones. We tried them out in the Lakes for New Year. It is the first time I have woken up at night in a tent and thought that I was at home in my own bed!

Fabulous.

A tapered mat to fit bivvi bags seems a good idea with ready market.

I use a full length thermarest and have always thought it would have been better with separate top ‘n bottom aircells to stop all the air under your bum being squeezed to the lighter leg end. A puncture wouldn’t be a total disaster either. I suppose a tapered mat would also help with “bum induced coldspot” but you’d want to keep your legs on top of the slimmer tail somehow.

Would you consider adding a ‘Skinny Airic’ to the range, ie a 180 x 64 x 2.5cm mat. If you do, I’ll buy one. How’s that? Oh, and keep up the brilliant work!

Just back from the KIMM in the Eastern Lakes. My Wee Airic did the job, but why not supply it in a stuff sac that is half width, like Thermarest? It makes it a lot easier to pack in a small rucsac.

I’m agreeing with Robert Smith on this one . Big rectangular thermarests don’t fit in my bivibag.
