What can I say, ordered on Tuesday morning, arrived on Wednesday morning. Sterling service as usual. Another one of many Alpkit products I’ve bought (starting to look like I’m sponsored!) Not had a chance to use the bag in anger yet as its just arrived but super chuffed with the quality of the bag (PD 600). Was a bit worried about the snugness of the fit but can get in with my Filo on nae bother for when the mercury plummets and plenty room for the down to loft. Cheers Alpkit (again!)

Features at a glance

  • 750 Fill Power Down - We use 95/5 750+ (European scale) fill power Chinese white goose down, the highest quality down available in China suitable for the purpose.
  • Lightweight Shell - The fabric used on the PipeDream is made by Toray, one of the largest and most respected mills in Japan. It weights a measly 29gm/m2 yet the weave is down proof. We have not used a cheaper polyester fabric for the lining of the bag, the same lightweight nylon continues throughout the construction of the bag.
  • Internal Pocket - Internal zippered chest pocket is handy for storing your wallet or iPod.
