Great value for money!  The bottom of my mug is not perfectly flat though - a little dented or rippled but only very minor thing really.  My lid was also warped on arrival and required straightening which was easily done by hand and took all of a couple of seconds.
The mug holds a huge brew and this means fewer spills as you are unlikely to fill it any where near the top.

MytiMug came with me on army excercise: sits a bit precariously on my whisperlite rocket-engine but works nonetheless. It worked better with a gas-canister stove, whose canister it holds perfectly for space saving. It was super for a quick brew-up of coffee, worked dandy for a soup (eaten with a titanium spork, of course), and it impressed my neanderthal companions.  Very handy piece of kit when one is fending off the communist hoards and making the world safe for Westminster democracy.

I’m also a big fan of the MytiMug, my 32 oz Nalgene bottle fits in it perfectly and the MytiMug sits real wel on my little Varge Titanium alcohol stove or my Outdoor Designs Titanium liquid gas stove.
The only thing I would have loved to have was a (removable) bail to hang the MytiMug above a wood fire.

Well after some thinking I came up with a simple cheap solution using some bras wire or stainless leader wire and 2 spring paper clamps.
Just take a look at the photo’s and you’ll understand what I mean, it works great because the MytiMug has a nice rolled “edge”.

I would love to see 2 fixed attachenment points offered on the MytiMug so you can attach your own bail wire but my solution also works OK.

just a quick one i was looking at the mug and im very impressed what you get for the money if this had a posh name on you would be paying around 2/3rds more on the price (keep up the good work guys top gear at great prices) ps msg for aron on reviews “shut up you tool” its an all purpose mug at very good value so a tip for u isto butt ou and them them get on with it lol

I recently got a mytimug and have been very impressed with it.  I first used it with a Super Cat Alcohol Stove and have since graduated to a Simplified Zen Sideburner Stove.  Details below.

Combined with a simple lightweight alcohol stove, it’s a great lightweight “quick brew” solution.

I’ve used an Army crusader mug in the past and the biggest problem with that was “rattly handles” (which the mytimug seems to overcome very well) and no lid.

I’m currently using a bit of string to keep the lid on in transit - any chance of some sort of clips attached to the lid for this?  The well-defined lip on the mug is useful for attaching a heath robinson bale arm for suspending over a fire - any chance one could be included in the future?

I bought one of you titanium mug/pans at the York cycle rally. Most impressed with the price which is even cheaper than having someone fetch back snow peak pans from the USA. However when I got home I noticed the wall thickness is quite high so I compared your pan to the pans I was going replace which are a pair of old camping gas globe trotter pans. These TWO aluminium pans together only weigh about 10 grams more than your titanium pan. They each hold about 1 pint like yours does so on balance I will continue to use my old pans.

So my feedback on you product is:

Titanium is very very strong so cut down the wall thickness by at least 50% and halve the weight. The height/ diameter ratio is very good for the burner I use made from small hotel mini-bar type tins.

Make the lid multi use by making it into a mug about 30 to 40mm deep. Perhaps do away with side handles on the pan and use a simple wire bail. You could then probably increase the price significantly inline with these modifications.
Should you modify this pan then I would be happy to field test it for you.
