Light and strong and perfect for wild camping.

Purchased this a while back as a replacement for an old stainless camp mug. When the box arrived from the post I was amazed how light it was but yet still felt sturdy enough for every day use. It likes in my back pack and gets used for brewing tea and making hot chocolate but is also large enough to use to cook pasta, rice or noodles. Coupled with my vargo titanium meths stove it makes for a very light weight brew kit.

Loved it, cooked in it, ate from it, drank from it…..And then after drinking red wine and then whisky from it I dropped it as I fell down a hill above a glacier hut in New Zealand. Time to buy another one…..good job they are not too pricey.

Mug is great, very light and tough, however the lid needs a deeper lip so that it doesnt slip-slide all over the place. It not really a problem, just a bit annoying.

Nonetheless, a great addition to my hoard of fantastic Alpkit stuff…

If tha’s got thee sen a loose lid…tha’ should get thee sen to see a shrink.

Or in the case of a Titanium cooking lid, just place a piece of clean linen or tin foil over the cup and then put the lid on…eh presto, it seals. Be sure to vent the material of choice to stop it ‘ejaculating’.

Does any one want to hear my joke about a seal and ejaculation?
