My first Alpkit purchase a few years ago at the Outdoor show proved to be genius on my part. The jeanius jeans have become an essential part of my wardrobe and as a self-confessed gear freak I have tried and tested a lot of stuff.

They fit me perfectly, look good and have a rugged feel to them. I wear them out and about whatever the weather, however they have now faded (colour and water resistance-ness) and worn thin in a few places.

So I bought myself a couple more pairs because I love ‘em. My only issue is the wife is 4’11 she wants a pair, can you help?

Bough a par of these a year ago and love them - Amazingly still water-resistant despite normal washing, not got holes in and still super comfy. Been using them for a mix of climbing, kicking about and just general walking to work when its raining. The fabric is suprisingly light and soft compared to normal denim. Fit is excellent, as is the movement.

Have to disagree with most of the comments below though, finally a pair of jeans that are the right length, please please please don’t make them shorter, they are perfect as they are.

Will be buying another pair shortly - please hurry up and make a girl version - other half is eyeing up wishfully!

Had been wanting a pair for a while so when the lovely people at alpkit put them on sale I had no reason not to get a pair! Had them about a month and worn them loads, both in warm and wet conditions. They are super comfy, and although the legs are a bit long I just turned them up which kinda looks cool anyways.

Brilliant jeans, knocks the socks off the rest of my trousers!! Nice one alpkit peeps!

I’ve had the Joe’s for several months and am liking them so far.  They make a change from the heavier weight denim I usually wear.  I agree with Symo’s comment about leg lengths and the how that affects knee articulation.  More waist/leg length options would be good.  If I was being ultra picky I would rather not have the stitched images on the back pockets (prefer a them bit more minimal) although I like the sentiment.  Ta

Had these well over 18 months now and just wish that shorter leg lengths were available on the 34 size (30 is what I needed).  As is I have hacked these off with scissors and as a consequence the knee articulation is in the wrong place.

Please can we have shorter leg sizes?

Slim Jim Jenius arrived yesterday. A marvellous piece of kit. Love the stretch. Water streams off them. I’m epically impressed. smile

Two suggestions if I may for you consideration:
1. For cycle fans like me, an alternative to the slightly flared bootcut would be awesome. A straight leg or carrot leg would be ace.
2. Back yoke height: To keep the waist from riding down when bending over or squatting, a little more height from the back center waist to the seam would be ace.

All in all though, I’m chuffed to bits. Nice work, compadres!

Ordered some regular joes they arrived super fast (brilliant customer service and care) and they are awesome the fit is good and they are really comfortable so good infact I have just ordered a second pair!

As posted elsewhere - My regular Joes are a fantastic fit and a bit generous on the waist so I’m rocking 32” rather than the usual 34s.
Service awesome as per!

Only just received so can’t comment on longevity of the warterproofing, but great fit in the standard cut, the right amount of movement vs fit.

One problem is the front pockets, they are too small and too shallow. Not enough room to fit a wallet and stuff could fall out. Fix this in the new design (and make the waterproofing permanent) and I’ll happily buy another pair.
