Now this is just ridiculous. So warm you would not believe. I encourage you to look at the specs and understand why I never even stirred at the Tyne Tour this weekend just gone. The thing will trap so much air that I got it to stand up vertical on its toe-end. Amazing! Further, it compresses down smaller than my cheapo old bag (feels like the best teddy-bear you never owned) and weighs considerably less. Bonza!
I thought when it arrived I should have got a righty zip so I can pair it with my old bag for “spread”, but now I’m convinced I’ll just get another ALPINEDREAM - it really is that comfortable.
Once you try a down bag like this you’ll understand - when you try to buy one at a better price, you’ll go back to Alpkit.com

Hmmm a few ideas. why not sell a watertight sack for the bags, a gelert 9.5L roll top one fits my 700 perfectly and keeps it completly dry and how about a pocket the length of the bag so that a shaped rollmat can be slid into it so i don’t roll of it in the night.

Back from exercise in wales doing my selection. We had torrential rain but I kept the bag dry so it was lovely and warm. The velcro came half off and I didn’t have time to send it back so I stiched it back on. It’s fine now but a bit smelly, no showers for a week!

James: Sorry about that we will look at that in the future.
Has the whole Velcro panel dropped of?

Nice bag, but the velcro (only the hooks) on the face baffle came off so maybe some stronger stiching is needed.

I have a 700, is an absolutely wicked bag, unbelievable at the price and kept me toasty on a Klettersteig trip out in Austria. Keep it up Alpkit!
