Am happy owner of an Alpine Dream 700.
I find that liners tend to strangle me overnight (I tend to toss and turn a bit).
Suggestion - have small fabric (tape?) loops sewn into the seams at the bottom and sides of the inside of the bag (and above/below the zips) at regular intervals to secure bag liners (every 300mm or so).
You could also market a silk liner with appropriately placed ties that could be fitted to the bag.
You then tie the liner into the bag and compress it - presto - you have an unpacked bag with liner fitted and a great nights sleep.
Untie the liner for washing..
And of course ties could be sewn onto any liner
hi there received my alpin dream 500 today quite impressed by 1st impressions, haven’t used it yet but i am going away kayaking on the west coast of scotland this weekend culminating in a full traverse of the cuillin ridge which will have at least 2 bivvis throughout the week so will let you know how it performed in about 10 days time
cheers

I’m the proud owner of a new long Alpinedream 500 - It’s nice and roomy for a 193cm bloke, and pretty warm too
I like the idea and there a few on the market already.
Check out these guys..

How about a sleeping bag with legs, and zips in crotch and toes so you can get up and go to the loo without getting cold? Also good for sitting around the campfire. There doesnt seem to be anything around like this, so I was even considering making one. I’m sure there would be a market for this - lots of beer-drinking women about!
Does exactly what it says on the tin/box/whatever. 700 model kept us toasty warm up at Kibo camp on Kili at approx -10. Good, basic, no-frill bag. No problems with the velcro as reported on other reviews, and great customer service and support. Cheers guys.
never been that warm before, wild camping in feb
Glad to see you guys have got these bags in stock again ... me next :->
I had mine in the Black Mountains on a particularly Soviet Gulag kind of winter night. Nice and toasty--I like the no frills part, so avoid adding anything that makes it more expensive. I like the Top Tip of the Gelert 9.5l bag, but I usually just use the normal stuff sack and then roll it inside my gore-tex bivvie bag.
well as promised, used the bag all week and was really impresed, two bivvies one at kinloch on rum & one just past the inn pinn on skye.the bag was superband the only mod i made was to treat the face with tx direct, also stayed in bothy at camusunary where in the middle of thenight i woke up in a puddle of sweat as this was my only time using the bag indoors!! as we say up here PURE DEAD BRILLIANT MAN!!
