Really useful - now emergency gear is in a red bag, spare clothes in blue, lunch in black - I can find everything in moments and I know it will be dry! Great price and touch enough to cope with a careless owner…

How about a red one with white cross to make first aid kits instantly recognisable?

A very happy bunny indeed.

Just taken delivery in time for the rain soaked motorbike ride to work.  Now I arrive with dry socks, shirt and trousers.  Oh yeah and their laptop arrived dry back at the office unfortunately for me.  Girfriend will be using hers for a forthcoming trip to Ireland as a rucksac liner.

Nick, Couldn’t you use Toray Entrant? You use their materials already in other kit.

Crux, is Hydrophobic good or bad?

Great bags, nice sturdy feel to them. Nice colours and good sizes, only thing is that once you have stuffed a down jacket in and it’s expanded it’s a right game to get the blighter out as you have nothing to hold onto on the bottom of the sack. A hanging loop or somat is required guys so that you can grip the bag while pulling on it’s contents. Oh and they are very hydrophobic

Jim and i developed the Event/Goretex dry compression bags where you push the air through the fabric and not a plastic valve. However neither Event of Gore-tex will supply us fabric so it will have to be on hold until we find another Air permeable waterproof fabric.

As an idea could for the future could you not combine an airlock back with a compression bag for use with down sleeping bags ! it would give you a fully waterproof compression sack ! ideal for keeping your down bag dry
