Airic Reviews

I bought a Slim Airic recently to replace an old MultiMat and have been more than impressed with it. Once inflated it provides excellent insulation from the ground as well as being comfortable (in spite of my habit of sleeping on my side).

The only slight issue I have is that for a self-inflating mat it sometimes doesn’t want to do much in the way of self inflation. That said even if I had to blow it up 100% with lung power it’d still have a place in my pack.

WOW, how do you guys produce products at these prices, my Airic was delivered very quicky, and after a drunken night out i decided to test it , early hours of the morning, im a bit of a mess drag Airic downstairs take into the back garden get in my bag and fall asleep..........i didnt wake up until 1 in the afternoon, better nights sleep than my bed...cheers Alpkit

Airic, fantastic product,well made, half the price of comparable mats, v.fast delivery and a British company too. I will be sure to pass on the Alpkit.com name to all my friends. 10/10

Again quality kit does exactly what it says on the tin – would highly recommend the quality of the mat, & your service i.e. communications and delivery.  Go on get yourself a bargain ½ the cost of other makes.

Used Reg Airic on my teams 24 bike race in Fort William.
Has to said absolutely great purchase - constantly satisfying and comfy sleep (however brief it was!).
I found if you lightly glued an old inner tube to your selected ‘bottom’ side, there was no more slipping. An extreme but effective solution - perhaps some kind of ahessive tabs could be made available for new stock?
We were camping on Car park gravel too at 0 to -4 temps - kept us nice n snug and off the solid cold ground. Next year (or at Strathpuffer in Jan) i’ll invest in a down sleeping bag.
PS - my headtorch kept me alive at 11pm at night when both lights on my bike died on me in the middle of nowhere - for this alone i promised to thank you personally as it got me through a tough night ride - bravo chaps!

Just bought 3 Fat Airics...they are very comfy....family spent the first evening they arrived watching TV on them rather than using the sofa!

Recently bought a Slim Airic and it’s excellent, especially considering the price compared to Thermarests.  Used it on a solid wooden floor and was still perfectly comfortable.  Now buying two more for christmas presents.

Excellent bit of kit(Fat Airic), quick delivery and personal service - handwritten note “thanks for the order” nice touch.  Can highly recommend to others

Hurry up with the fat ones!  Ditto the above with ref to the thicker but shorter sizes for us smaller types.  Even when car camping we need all the help we can get to get everything in.

Eagerly awaiting the Airics to come back in stock…
In the meantime, any chance of developing thicker mats but at the “wee airic” sizing?
