Have you thought about Organic cotton for the tshirts?
Thanks Polly. No trousers just as yet, however it is something that we are seriously considering. For one, I certainly have trouble finding decent climbing trousers so it’s high on my list ) Things like this and those such as strappy tops i see taking a bit more time to make sure we get them right. So once we have the first wave of major alpkit products underway then we will certainly be looking to develop this area in some way.
Look good apart from the pinkness.Don’t like picky bitch as well. What about strappy stretchy tops? Any trousers being designed?
When you have finally made your mind up on the design you need to show them on a model, so us ladies can see what they look like on. Designs are looking promising!
Nice not to be flamed...Rock hugger has potential, just watch where you’re putting the hands eh! ‘tis hard to see with the wee pic posted. ‘Ice maiden’ as possible text for pick graphic? Or just plain ‘picky’. I do like the graphic.
thanks JJ, the idea of the colab is to get just this kind of feedback as to what people like. The mens tshirts have certainly had some good feed back and the plan is to incorporate a couple of these designs into our first wave of womens tshirts. Alongside this we also want to build in designs that are independent from the mens range. Of course it’s going to be hard to please everyone, whether it’s the style of tshirt or the design on it. The idea was to bring in some level of edginess, but not overtly so, but then also not be too ‘girlie’ at the same time. As for the designs here, ‘Rock hugger’ was honestly not thought about in the context you might think (but you have caused a few smiles in the office). ‘Picky bitch’, hmmm perhaps pushing it a bit with the text, but the heart shape made up of two ice axes was the main driving force for that idea, so perhaps ignoring/changing the text (cold hearted/heart of cold/ice), would it be of interest? ‘Watch my feet’ was a play on the fact that men perhaps look at the girls more than their climbing (balance, good footwork etc). As we are also busy building up the wider product range of Alpkit, the tshirt/ more casual range will be quite limited initially, this of course gives even less room to please a wider spectrum of people. So, for instance, we might start with just 4 designs, 2 from the mens range and 2 new ones. We can then build on this over the coming year.
Gulp. Nope. Wouldn’t buy any of those designs. All sexually themed , arrow towards arse, hand prints on chest, kitten/btch. None of them horrid as a standalone design but if that turns out to be the extent of the ‘female’ range I’d steer clear of buying anything else from Alpkit. I’d stay interested as long as there were a few available along the lines of your current designs. It’d be nice just to be able to get a climbing themed Tshirt that was in a femalefit style. The four designs currently listed are cunning if that’s your style of humour but they are all in the same vein…
They are looking good Col!!! I like Alpkitten best and I like rock hugger and watch my feet too........keep up the good work.
all these designs look really good! i like the rock hugger 1 best!
Organic isn’t a brand,i put a large O in by mistake.
