Product development

We want to use coLAB as part of our natural product development cycle. Of course you can already give us feedback on any of our production models, however we want to try and bring that feedback process further forward, where it can make a bigger difference. As we grow we can increase the number of pre production samples or even make special short runs for feedback and further development. We are still in the early stages, we are still learning the best way to do this, and it could even involve you.

Alpkit Innovation Award

The Alpkit Innovation Award is an opportunity for you to mix your fascination of the outdoors with the products or services you use. Develop your own ideas, products, services, illustrations or anything else that has an impact on the way people interact with the outdoors. The Award will culminate at the 2008 Outdoors Show. Le Woomf

Last years Giraffe and Zebra print Woomfs were pretty special, but this year we think we have stumbled across something even more interesting, and sure to make your pad stand out from the crowd.

Bleat

Wool is great, sheep have been perfecting it for years but we have mixed in some Polyester yarnage and blended it into a wearable garment. By combining the two we hope to make a more functional product for active hillgoers.

Filium

The first true product to be put through the CoLAB treatment. We hope not only to get feedback on the product but to also experiment with the CoLAB process itself. Although we have filled it under CoLAB it is a fully functional jacket and comes with a full warranty.

From time to time we may have a shorter than normal production run or simply want to try out something new. In such cases we launch the product under the coLAB branding, usually at a very tempting price in exchange for your feedback. No membership is needed, just use the product and leave your comments on our website.
