View Hydrostatic Head

A measurement of water resistance displaying a fabrics ability to withstand a column of water. E.g. a 20,000mm Hydrostatic head value means a fabric is able to withstand the pressure of a column of water 20m high without letting any water seep through it. This can be measured by low and high hydraulic pressure tests such as the ‘JIS l 1092 B’ test.
