Big Shakeout II

Save the Date because the Big Shakeout will be back during the 14th, 15th and 16th of October in the Peak District.

Last year a few hundred shakers enjoyed Alpkit hospitality on the fringe of Sheffield during the Cliffhanger weekend. We had BBQs, live music from Sat Nav Sam Stephens, the Balkan Bandits, the Bell Hagg Orkestar and others, a film show, food, drink and camping. There was much merriment, some people experienced camping for the first time and some people even managed to get out in the Peak District to do good things. If you couldn’t make it last year you can still see what it was like on last years Big Shakeout website.

But that was then, and this is now.. or it will be soon. This years Big Shakeout is going to change in three main respects from last years; it is in October, it is in the Peak District, it will be more activity based but still with camping, groovy live music and stuff happening in the evenings all within a wonderful new location.

We still have some things to arrange but we are aiming to have the format sorted and tickets on sale from July, so stay tuned for updates. Don’t forget you can still get a taster of what to expect on last years archived site.
